Working as part of a team, this role would suit an enthusiastic individual with some helpdesk support experience in a Microsoft Windows environment and a keen interest in all areas of IT.
As a Junior Helpdesk Engineer you will have a hands-on role which will provide you with the unique opportunity to learn a variety of IT skills within a complex infrastructure.
Combining your existing knowledge with the training and mentoring provided, your role and responsibilities will include:
- 1st line desktop support to 2000+ users covering both software and hardware - Supporting workstations, peripherals, printers
- Setting up new users, desktops, laptops and printers - Administration of backup software, AV software and maintenance of the security and integrity of the network
This role will grow to the administration of Windows servers and networking.
To succeed as the Junior IT Helpdesk Engineer you must have experience of providing technical support in a Windows environment, and knowledge and experience of MS Active Directory and Office products.
