Details - System Force Update

As our entire customer base is aware we recently moved from Kestrel Court to our new custom build offices and data centre, in Brearley Place.

Since moving a number of things have been happening,
Firstly: We have improved our efficiency in Electricity usage; we have employed different energy saving systems to provide the optimum in controlled airflow and redundancy. Reusing the hot air from the data centre to heat the rest of our building, and thus not having to heat or cool the areas.

We have changed the way we do our backup checks, to the point where we are now chasing customers near lunch time to change the tapes instead of just before they go home. So far we are not aware of any support company doing the sort of preventative maintenance that System Force engineers provide to both remote support and on-site support.

Of course we still provide the 24X7 cover and monitoring our customers have come to expect, but we always think that things are better to improve than sit and not do anything. As a colleague once said to me "If you’re not moving forward then you’re moving backward"

Since we moved the amount of printers coming in for repair from other IT support companies and non System Force customers has reached a very high level which means we are now keeping more stock for Plotters, laser printers and inkjets.

We have also been more involved in installing network cabling, which has never been our core business, we have grown our reputation as clean and reliable.

Now it’s coming to that time of year, viruses are coming from everywhere and we are very lucky to have the team that we do, so far this month we have identified over 100 new virus threats (According to webimune by MacAfee).
